Reinventing the Landscape, or how to say green without really using it!
 
I will be giving a Plein Air Workshop on
May 30th  from 10am to 3pm

We will meet at the Lakewood Forest Preserves on route 176 just west of Fairfield 
in Wauconda.  It is home of the Lake County Discovery Museum .
 
I will demonstrate in the morning and you will paint in the afternoon.

Bring a sack lunch or visit Wauconda only 5 minutes away.
Cost is $50 per person.

On April 18, I gave a workshop for the Deerpath Art League group with the promise to show the finished item here.  In follow-up, see the completed piece:

While at the workshop I had painted the sky pink. Yet, later when I got the home,  it was very noticable that all the warm colors were on the upper half of the painting and the cool colors were on the bottom. So for better flow for the I have painted the trees to thrust up into the sky.
