On June 6, my opening coincided with the Highland Park Art Walk. I experienced a wonderful evening in Highland Park as friends and patrons gathered to view my new work while tasting wine. The rain did not stop the flow of visitors from coming in!

The discovery of The Cork and Canvas Wine and Art Gallery a year ago, proved to be a visually exciting place to show my pieces. My sister made an appearance with my mother, this being her first opening of mine in a gallery setting. I was delighted to have them there.

Guests sampled five varieties of wine as they strolled around taking in the

visual array of my paintings. I will have my work there until July 17.

The Cork and Canvas is located at 1839 Second Street Highland Park.
