I have been negligent in keeping up with my blog! But it is that time of year…I was the chef for my family's Thanksgiving feast, a role I have not mastered solo yet!

This year was my second attempt since my husband passed away five years ago; I am having a hard time getting everything to the table hot. The things we take for granted!!! Having been a rather capable and creative chef (I make everything from scratch), I think some changes need to be made! Maybe get someone else to host the meal!

November was a rather exciting month for me; the piece from Fort Sheridan I had recently completed and had posted on the blog sold and now resides in Grayslake.

My first solo exhibit has been scheduled for September 2010 at the Old Town Art Center. The opening will be Sunday September 12, in the afternoon. More information will be posted closer to the date!
