Re-Inventing the Landscape
May 15-16, 9am - 4pm

At the State Bank of the Lakes, 1906 Holian Drive, Spring Grove, IL 60081
Use color like you’ve never used it before as you free yourself from the conformity of a traditional palette. All this, using just 4 colors!!!
Join me for this new workshop using the Color Equivalent technique. Learn to maintain the harmony of the landscape while abstracting with color.
Friday will start with a demonstration and dialogue using a photograph taken by the artist. During this demo I will explain how I am re-interpreting the imagery.
You will then start on your own painting using a photograph you have taken.
Saturday we will leave together to the Chain of Lakes State Park where I will give a quick demonstration on location followed by individual attention as you paint plein air.
